What I Came With

I developed this series of ceramic bras made to look like real breasts in order to provoke a conversation about the over sexualization of women and our bodies. I find it amazing that we all come into the world with nipples and as we grow they affect our lives differently. Women are expected to spend their lives catering to social expectations for breasts. Mothers feel the need to hide when breastfeeding. Women are arrested for showing their bodies due to over sexualization.  It is frowned upon to not wear a bra because of an unnecessary stigma. Women are more than what they hide to please others.
