Choke Hold is a series of work about about the irrationality of human nature. Pro-wrestling imagery is used in this series as a vehicle to create a human spectacle and to demonstrate concepts such as greed, dominance, and toxic masculinity. The color pink is an important component to this work as the the delicate, feminine connotation associated with the color serves as a juxtaposition to the Choke Hold narrative.  This juxtaposition pushes the absurdity of the work and highlights the satirical nature of these images.
