Lolita

I am a Romanian illustrator and sequential artist based in London. I create primarily small scale figurative work, inspired by people and for people. I believe the meaning of Lolita, despite its popularity, is often misinterpreted, and I wanted to emphasize Dolores's role as a victim and object of Humbert Humbert's obsession. I used a washed out, tainted pink to symbolize the innocence that she had been robbed off so brutally.
